Effective Date: 10/31/2026
Connections Physical Therapy, Inc. and its clinics, including Holmes Physical Therapy, Live Free Physical Therapy and Medfield Orthopedic & Sports Therapy (“Connections PT”, “we”, “us”), send text messages to patients, prospective patients and others who have agreed to receive them. Messages may be sent automatically or by authorized service providers on our behalf. By agreeing to receive texts from us, you accept these terms.
1. Messages we send
We may text you about:
- Appointment scheduling, confirmations, reminders and changes
- Clinic closures, delayed openings and other schedule changes, such as for weather
- Responses to your questions
- Insurance verification, authorizations and administrative updates
- Registration and intake
- Billing and your account
- Other messages about services you have asked us for
We do not send marketing texts unless you have separately agreed to receive them.
2. Consent
You agree to receive texts by ticking the text-message box on our registration or intake forms, on a website form, or by telling our staff, and we record your agreement. Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of receiving care. Giving us your phone number on its own is not consent to marketing texts, and consent to marketing is never a condition of treatment or of buying any service.
3. Message frequency and cost
Message frequency varies with your appointments and your contact with us, and messages may recur. More messages may be sent during weather closures. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. We do not charge for text messages.
4. How to stop
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one final message confirming you are unsubscribed, and no further texts from that number. Stopping texts does not affect your care. To start receiving texts again, reply START or contact your clinic.
5. Help
Reply HELP to any message, or contact your clinic. Clinic phone numbers are listed at connectionspt.com.
6. Privacy
Your mobile number, opt-in information and consent records will not be sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may use authorized service providers to send messages, and they are required to keep your information confidential and secure. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
7. Not for emergencies
Text messaging is not for emergencies. If you have a medical emergency, call 911.
8. Delivery
Mobile carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. We cannot guarantee that every message will be delivered immediately or at all.
9. Security
Text messages are not encrypted. Please do not send detailed medical or financial information by text.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. Changes are posted on this page with a new effective date. For questions, reply HELP, contact your clinic, or visit connectionspt.com. See also our Privacy Policy.
