Dr. Sarah Fenton PT, DPT, CSRS, LSVT, AIB-VRC, AIB-VRII
(Physical Therapist)
Sarah graduated from New England Institute of Technology in 2015 with her associates degree in Physical Therapist Assistant. She spent one year in the orthopedic outpatient population but working in the neurological population was her passion. She went back and received her BS in Rehabilitation Science with a focus on disability studies and assistive technology in 2017, and finished with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Trine University in 2021 where she tailored her clinical education to the neurologic population in both the outpatient and inpatient settings. She holds certifications in LSVT Big, as a Certified Stroke Rehab Specialist (CSRS), and in vestibular/concussion management and advanced vestibular rehabilitation from the American Institute of Balance (AIB-VRC, AIB-VR II)
She has a unique perspective for treatment since she treats both orthopedic and neurological disorders/diagnoses. She brings a neuromuscular approach to her patients with orthopedic conditions and an orthopedic approach to her patients with neurological conditions to assist with chronic pain that can be present with neurodegenerative diseases. In addition to clinical experience, Sarah has experience as an adjunct professor in the PTA program at New England Institute of Technology. She joined our Connections PT team in Worcester in September 2022 to continue to provide the high level of care she expects for her patients.
