Dr. Max Cantor PT, DPT, OCS

Max Cantor, PT, DPT, OCS is the President of Connections Physical Therapy, where he oversees the day-to-day operations across all locations. A 2012 graduate of Ithaca College, Max completed his orthopedic residency at Cayuga Medical Center before dedicating eight years to full-time clinical practice.
Since transitioning into his leadership role in 2020, Max has been instrumental in upholding the practice’s independence and commitment to patient-centered care. Under his guidance, Connections Physical Therapy has expanded its robust mentorship and professional development initiatives, particularly through the Advanced and Core Connections programs.
Max remains actively involved in the physical therapy community as a member of the APTA Massachusetts chapter and as a collaborator with local colleges and universities, where he contributes to the growth and education of future therapists. Outside of work, Max keeps himself busy chasing after his three young children and enjoys being a coach for their teams.
