Carri earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2018 from St. Ambrose University after getting her B.S. in Kinesiology from Iowa State University. Her passion for physical therapy began after a physical therapy service trip to Costa Rica in college, where she was working in underserved communities to provide treatment and education. After treating at an outpatient clinic in Stoughton for three years, Carri recently joined the team at Connections Physical Therapy Wellesley, where she treats orthopedic conditions and specializes in pelvic floor rehabilitation. Carri has taken several continuing education courses, including Level 1, Level 2A, and Level 2B of the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Floor Series and Dry Needling Level 1.
Carri works with both men and women with pelvic floor dysfunction, treating conditions including urinary and fecal incontinence, dyspareunia, pelvic organ prolapse, constipation, diastasis recti, peripartum dysfunction, and pelvic pain. She utilizes manual therapy targeting deep and superficial pelvic floor muscles, relaxation training, and progressive pelvic and core strengthening to help patients achieve their goals. Carri places a high priority on facilitating a safe and comfortable experience for all patients and strives to build a patient-therapist relationship based on trust and communication.
