Our Team

When Allyssa was 13, her father sat her down and said, “You can do anything, Allyssa, but you can’t do everything.”  Despite this well-intentioned advice, Allyssa has set out to seize life’s varied opportunities. She started her professional life as a TESOL teacher, both internationally and stateside. Somewhere along the line, she fell in love with movement science. A career in physical therapy became the reasonable sequitur: education used to optimize one’s physical health. 

Allyssa has worked in many different practice settings, finding joy in each one for its unique challenges and lessons.  Allyssa is excited to be a part of the Wellesley clinic where she is primarily engaged in providing pelvic health services to those individuals who identify as female.

At home, Allyssa provides regular shuttle service to her 2 children as they traipse from one activity to the next. In her spare time, Allyssa enjoys a good laze around the house and/or planning anything that requires a fair amount of research and dreaming. She aspires to sleep 8 hours a night, eat good food, and listen to good music, some of which she performs herself.
