Meet Jose(pha) Donovan, PT
José has been a physical therapist for over 30 years. After receiving her physical therapy education in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, she moved to the US and has been steadily working in the Concord, MA area. She started as a senior outpatient physical therapist at Emerson Hospital, followed by many years in an orthopedic private practice in Concord. In addition, she consulted for the company New Balance in Lawrence and Boston to implement correct ergonomics for its employees.
José has worked closely with both local referring MDs as well as MDs from the Boston area. Her patient caseload varies from orthopedic/sports injuries to neurological patients, emphasizing treatment programs for long-term wellness.
José tailors treatment plans to each patient’s unique goals.
Outside the clinic, she enjoys biking, hiking, fitness classes at the gym, traveling and spending time with familiy and friends.
